TripAdvisor is seeking a passionate Group Program Manager to join the Hotels product team and accelerate the adoption and scalability of TripAdvisor’s supply partner facing product portfolio.

In this role, the GPM will need to coordinate with a number of cross functional teams (Engineering, Analytics, Sales, etc) and internal and external executive stakeholders, to evolve TripAdvisor’s bidding and connectivity platform’s feature set, including but not limited to our bid management platform, partner bid levers, remarketing, auction reporting powering partner bidding algorithms and spend, and TripAdvisor’s hotels rates, availability, content and booking connectivity ecosystem. The GPM will manage the Hotels Supply Operations team and one Senior product manager, as well as execute key projects themselves.

The GPM is responsible for developing requirements, specifications, and enhancements to drive partners’ preference in TripAdvisor as a demand generation platform. This role is also managing the ever-growing suite of API connectivity to external partners that supply accommodation rates and content, and sees a performant platform infrastructure as the most vital component of a stellar online consumer interface.

To be a successful candidate, you will be passionate about data, able to craft a vision and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We aim to release products often with constant iteration and reliance on quantitative and qualitative metrics to help define further optimizations and enhancements. You are skilled at translating business needs into product plans that incorporate appropriate research and internal and external input. Your communication skills allow you to excel at collaborating in a global team environment, working in several time zones.

What You’ll Do:

  • Shape and deliver the vision and roadmap for the partner bidding and connectivity platforms
  • Manage a geographically distributed team responsible for operations partner facing products
  • Own and develop business cases, including evaluation and recommendation of options,
  • Present key recommendations and results to senior leadership and across the organization
  • Understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders and create valuable relationship
  • Project manage the delivery and rollout of products, managing your assigned engineering resources and tracking the effectiveness and success of the final deliverables
  • Automate as much as possible, and develop scalable processes in a high volume environment.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 8+ Years of experience in Project & Product management
  • 2+ years successfully managing and mentoring a team of product or project managers as direct reports
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good business acumen and a strategic mindset
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Ability to prioritize and focus from a large range of possible actions
  • A track record of ”Getting things done”
  • Ability to coordinate, motivate and lead cross-functional teams with a global footprint
  • Flexibility to work and travel across multiple time zones
  • Track record of creating business cases and getting buy in and resources.
  • Good stakeholder management and effective managing up
  • Experience with 3rd party APIs and auction dynamics is a plus.
