CIC is looking for a Project Lead to help bring CIC to new markets. This is an exciting, full-time opportunity for someone with at least 3 - 5 years of experience in project management and real estate/urban planning.

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will be a member of the Expansion Team, report to the Director of Global Expansion, and work closely with the Executive Team. This role oversees development process from initial site selection through lease signing with ongoing coordination with our in house design and construction team.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Project managing a portfolio of opportunities in 2-4 cities that the Expansion Team is either evaluating or pursuing
Creating timelines and roll out plans, assisting Finance team in developing overall project financial plan, and coordinating senior management and cross team resources
Completing a wide variety of tasks independently to move a project forward
Communicating project timelines and progress to senior management
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with project partners, and securing buy in and project support from shareholders in public, private, and academic sectors
Managing local consultant and project resources to remain on scope and within budget
Traveling (both independently and with senior leadership) to new markets to meet potential partners and evaluate opportunities. Note that, while travel requirements will vary by project, someone in this role should expect to travel up to 50% of the time
Conducting market research and analysis to evaluate new opportunities and markets
Planning visits and hosting potential partners in Cambridge, Boston, and other CIC sites

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree welcome
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, including experience leading a team or large scale projects
Willingness to travel up to 50% of time, though typical travel demands are closer to 25% of your time
A natural passion for startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship
An interest in a long-term role, we are a growing company, and we like to hire people who can grow with us over the years
Experience with real estate planning/development and/or urban planning
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes 100% of the cost of a premium healthcare and dental package for candidate and immediate family and full payment of expenses covered by your deductible, long and short-term disability, life insurance, 401k matching after the first year of employment (must be 21+) and holidays plus three weeks of vacation from the start (more with seniority). Annual reviews with raises every year for those on track with strong performance.
