Director, Program Success
Our Opportunity:
Site Merchandising is looking for an experienced e-commerce professional to build and lead a new team for Chewy. The Director, Program Success will establish a new function within the Site Merchandising team, serving as the merchandising and product feature strategist for high-profile corporate initiatives such as Proprietary Brands, Healthcare and Services.
This is a high-impact, high visibility role within the organization. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader, who is comfortable working and influencing cross-functionally. They must be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to create plans to achieve clearly defined business goals.
What you'll do:
This individual should enjoy a fast-paced environment where they can affect the customer experience and be an instrumental part of expanding multiple key business programs within Chewy. As this is new team at Chewy, you will help create a team charter and define the scope. This will include components such as:
- Content placement investment strategy: impressions are our currency, and in this role, you will determine our investment strategy across the site for core business priorities, driving program adoption and impression ROI
- Segmentation: test into the right audience to maximize initiative exposure while still generating strong impression ROI
- Product feature enablement: understand what product initiatives are being developed that could support new program success. Where there are feature gaps, advocate for development or leverage Site Merch engineer resources directly
- Automation: work with partner teams to productionalize winning strategies
- Reporting: collaborate with BI/analytics resources to build/refine dashboards to monitor site merchandising placements and impact. Ensure strategies are optimized for efficiency, performance and scale
- Long-term impacts: partner with Finance and BI to develop measurement processes that include projected long-term revenue impact
What you'll need:
- Bachelor degree in business-related field
- 10+ years of professional work experience, with 2+ years in ecommerce
- 3+ years of experience managing others
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience with streamlining and scaling business process
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
- Ability to drive direction and alignment effectively cross-functionally
- Demonstrate an analytical, data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization
- Ability to think ahead and set plans in motion for future growth needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
