Director, Cloud Strategy, Execution and Alliances
Overview
InterSystems is expanding our technology alliance efforts to help us scale. We need an experienced Director, Cloud Strategy, Execution and Alliances
to manage InterSystems strategic technology partners and help expand InterSystems industry footprint by managing and expanding key technology partnerships for us.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing business-to-business relationships with assigned technology alliance partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage InterSystems relationship with key technology partners such as: Red Hat, VMware, Dell/EMC, AWS, Azure, Alibaba and others on a global basis.
- Provide strategic ownership of the InterSystems and Alliance relationship.
- Grow new revenues by identifying joint selling opportunities and relationships with key technology partners.
- Build business plans collaboratively with InterSystems field sales staff and work with cross-functional teams internally (Sales, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Product, etc.) to achieve those objectives.
- Build out 12-18 month plan of technology partnerships which will define the company’s future.
- Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics.
- Act as a point of escalation on complex issues and providing appropriate support to internal team members.
- Communicate partner programs and processes to internal departments.
- Funding liaison for Marketing and Engineering activities.
- Manage Certification and Partner requirements.
- Facilitate Internal & External QBR/BPs for assigned partner(s)
Qualifications
- Experience in the data, data platforms or analytics ecosystems
- Minimum 10 years of relevant business development and/or sales alliance experience
- Proven success in managing alliances partnerships
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to effectively construct and close deals as an individual versus as part of a team
- Strong skills in multi-tasking, communications, negotiation, organization, and teamwork
- Proven self-starter with a high degree of initiative
- Strong strategic selling/business development skills
Education and Training
- BS/BA degree in a related technical field required
