Campus and Events Programs Specialist
The Team:
Within People Operations, recruiting is the first point of contact for new candidates in the hiring process, they play a critical role in identifying great candidates, telling the Datadog story and ultimately turning great candidates into great employees. Our recruiters are strategic business partners, matchmakers, sellers and marketeers, all wrapped into one.
The Opportunity:

We’re building the revenue engine of a high growth pre-IPO enterprise software company, and not slowing down. We want you to drive the success of our internship programs, and overall market visibility. No two days will ever be the same!
You Will:
- Initiating and managing relationships with local colleges and universities, academic department heads, and gaining visibility among top sales programs in Boston
- Driving partnerships with, Boston Startup bloggers, sales meetups, culture platforms, diversity groups, and other relevant organizations
- Manage internship program and engage best talent
- Work with recruiters, sales leadership team and other members of the marketing team to create compelling copy that will help position Datadog be one of the best company to work for in Boston
- Deep-dive into campaign metrics to truly assess their impact
- Build and lead the expansion of university recruiting initiatives to meet the goals of Internship, Co-op and early career roles
- Be the primary point of contact for universities/ schools, candidates and leaders to drive engagement, build a talent pipeline and meet hiring goals within established timelines
- Develop and maintain University Recruiting calendar. Engage with Executive Sponsors and Alumni. Manage Datadog's participation in on and off campus events
- Be a Datadog brand ambassador. Develop and execute employment branding & social media campaigns geared towards different target segments
- Support diversity talent sourcing and recruiting initiatives
- Perform full lifecycle recruiting, including intake meeting, requisition management, offer and onboarding
- Leverage technology to source and screen quality candidates through a broad range of cost effective techniques, on and off campus
- Support the training & development teams for the Early Career Development Program (ECDP) and Intern training programs
- Analyze data for trends, analysis and future state
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- 6+ months operating recruiting events or campus programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to influence others
- Ability to analyze data and trends
- A self-starter that thrives in a non-structured environment
- Microsoft Excel, intermediate level skills
- Desire to work in a high-growth startup atmosphere
