Boutique Producer
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for…
A Boutique Producer to assist with production of boutiques from start to finish
What you’ll accomplish…
Style Level Production Management:
- Oversee team categories and manage all production of the boutiques within them and ensure all deadlines are met in time for each Boutique launch.
- Have ownership for your work and your teams work to ensure accurate production for all styles in our boutiques and for the boutique assets.
- Be an expert in your categories by staying relevant with trends, competitors, and brands while upholding the Rue brand.
- Be knowledgeable of the performance and production history of past boutiques and apply learning’s to future boutiques.
- Support and manage your team’s weekly boutique capacity.
- Lead boutique status meetings weekly on your categories. Proactively raise concerns, issues, and recommendations within a timely manner on all boutiques to our Programming, Planning and Merchant teams.
- Be a role model for your team as well as Boutique Production as whole by upholding company core values.
- Build cross functional relationships with internal teams. Instill the importance of these relationships to your team.
- Proactively think about opportunities to innovate work-flow and production processes.
- Participate in our on-call schedule
Boutique Management:
- Act as the main liaison for your weekly boutiques by managing and filtering the flow of information between internal teams (Merchandising, Creative, Marketing, Production, Programming, Planning).
- Develop and publish info sheets that communicate the standards, assortment, brand identity and overall message for your boutiques.
- Produce all Lead Stories and top brand boutiques that are sourced for your category
- Facilitate internal and external brand kick-off meetings to initiate production needs and set expectations for our larger scale events (Creative, Timelines, Models, etc).
- Partner with our Studio Scheduling team to schedule creative impact production of your boutiques within timelines
- Perform daily walk throughs with Creative and the Studio teams to ensure Creative is executed as planned.
- Merchandise and categorize the product in your boutiques to best represent the brand and appeal to Members.
- Distribute final boutique link to internal partners for pre-launch review
People Management:
- Responsible for ensuring your direct reports are trained on team category production standards and our production systems and tools
- Review annual goals with direct reports and provide guidance on setting individual goals
- Manage/delegate daily workload of direct reports so that they are working at their capacity and flexing to support other teams as needed.
- Host team and individual meetings to enable frequent discussions around your expectations for work, as well as career growth within Rue and personal development
- Participate in company quarterly check ins (Growth First) and yearly review process through hosting quarterly check-in meetings, completing assessments, and providing management competency rating feedback
- Provide feedback on your direct reports to upper management so that they have the most accurate information when assessing team structure.
THE RIGHT FIT:
You have…
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 years’ experience in a project management, e-commerce, production, retail or merchandising role
- Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented, has solid project management skills and can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word & Excel, Google Docs
