What this job involves:

The Project Manager for Workplace Technology plays a critical role in leading technology deployments across the client portfolio. This position requires a highly organized individual who thrives in fast-paced environments where technology solutions evolve continuously. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional adaptability, navigates uncertain situations with confidence, and maintains a genuine passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Success in this role requires balancing project leadership with hands-on deployment support while maintaining careful attention to detail and stakeholder service excellence.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines across multiple projects concurrently

• Manage end-to-end project execution for workplace technology rollouts, including gathering requirements, engaging stakeholders, coordinating resources, managing risks, and conducting post-implementation reviews

• Provide onsite project oversight and hands-on deployment support as needed for high-priority or complex initiatives, ensuring smooth installation, setup, and launch of technology solutions

• Establish and track key performance indicators, project metrics, and deliverables, providing regular status updates and reporting to Program Management and stakeholders

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, technical resources, and third-party vendors throughout all project phases

• Facilitate requirements workshops, design reviews, and testing sessions to ensure technology solutions meet stakeholder needs

• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers during procurement, testing, deployment, and support phases, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain project momentum

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with site-level teams, facility managers, and end-users to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing support

Technology & Innovation

• Translate business requirements and stakeholder feedback into clear, actionable instructions for development teams

• Manage and prioritize the development backlog in collaboration with technical leads, ensuring alignment with project plans and delivery commitments

• Drive user adoption and change management by developing communication plans, training materials, quick reference guides, and rollout strategies for diverse

audiences

• Scout, evaluate, and pilot emerging workplace technologies and solutions as needed to enhance service delivery and drive continuous improvement across

the client portfolio.

• Maintain comprehensive inventory systems for hardware deployment, utilization, and returns

• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of best practices, standard procedures, and knowledge resources for the team

  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the following locations: Basking Ridge, NJ; Hidden Ridge, TX; Temple Terrace or Miami, FL; Alpharetta, GA; or Boston, MA

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in corporate real estate, facilities management, technology deployment, or startup environments

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams, including coordination with technical resources and external vendors

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with careful attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once

  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with proven resilience and composure when working under pressure or managing competing demands

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority, navigate stakeholder relationships, mediate conicts, and build collaborative partnerships

  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, compelling ways for executive, technical, and non-technical audiences

  • Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and project management platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master new technologies, systems, and processes with minimal supervision

  • Genuine passion for technology and innovation, with curiosity about how emerging solutions can transform workplace experiences

  • Flexibility to travel up to 20% within the United States for project deployments, site visits, and stakeholder meetings

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in PropTech, CRETech, workplace technology, or smart building solutions, such as IoT devices or digital workplace platforms

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments, with familiarity in sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative development approaches

  •  Experience developing change management materials, user guides, training content, or internal communications to drive technology adoption

  • Formal project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum credentials (CSM, PMI-ACP).

Estimated compensation for this position:

71,000.00 – 110,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
