About the Role

The (Project Manager) Engagement Manager will be an expert with the Workday Deployment Methodology. Leading mid to large customer project implementations successfully from start to go-live and ensuring customers are satisfied with their deployment experience are the primary responsibilities.

Other role responsibilities include:

• Becoming proficient in Workday's Implementation Methodology and demonstrate it on all engagements

• Leading simultaneous projects

• Participating in the sales cycle to gather requirements and formulate a delivery approach

• Ensuring your projects are accurately planned and staffed

• Partnering with the customer project manager for deployment success

• Presenting at project Executive Steering Committee meetings

• Assisting in customer transition from professional services to our customer success team post go-live.

About You

Basic Qualifications

Project Manager

• 3+ years of project management experience with HCM, Payroll, Financial or Student implementations within medium enterprise, large enterprise, higher education and/or state and local governments.

• 3+ years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.

• 3+ years of proven experience in client relationship management, including managing stakeholder expectations, communication, and project delivery to external or internal clients.

Senior Project Manager 

• 5+ years of project management experience with HCM, Payroll, Financial or Student implementations within medium enterprise, large enterprise, higher education and/or state and local governments.

• 5+ years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.

• 5+ years of proven experience in client relationship management, including managing stakeholder expectations, communication, and project delivery to external or internal clients.

Other Qualifications

• Experience leading 3rd parties on a project

• Delivering projects within budget as outlined in a statement of work

• Background in Workday deployment methodology and processes (preferred, not required)

• Ability to travel up to 25%
