About the RoleWe are seeking a versatile Product Owner / Project manager to drive the delivery of innovative trading and market data solutions within the financial markets domain.
This hybrid role combines product ownership, business analysis, and technical project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial market products (especially equities and equity derivatives), experience working in agile environments, and proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and documentation best practices.
You will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams—shaping product strategy, defining clear requirements, and ensuring successful, timely execution of complex initiatives, including automation and AI-related projects.

- Own and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for trading and market data platforms.
- Translate business and market needs into clear, actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with business, trading, and technology stakeholders to align priorities and manage expectations.
- Support adoption of automation and AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for financial market products.
- Conduct detailed workflow analysis related to equities and equity derivatives, including trading, market data, and post-trade processes.
- Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, functional specs, process diagrams, and user stories.
- Maintain structured and well-organized knowledge bases and project documentation in Confluence.
- Manage and track project delivery timelines, scope, and dependencies using Jira.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Coordinate across engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Identify risks and issues early, escalate effectively, and drive resolutions.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory, compliance, and security requirements.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Technical Project Manager, ideally in financial services, capital markets, or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of financial market products, particularly equities and equity derivatives.
- Experience with order management systems (OMS), execution management systems (EMS), FIX Protocol
- Proven ability to define and manage product roadmaps and agile backlogs.
- Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management, sprint tracking, and project delivery.
- Proficiency with Confluence for documentation, knowledge sharing, and project collaboration.
- Solid experience producing clear and structured documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Familiarity with automation concepts and exposure to AI technologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Python, SQL and data analysis tools.
- Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Regulatory or compliance knowledge relevant to financial markets.
