- Maintain accountability for quality, timelines, scope, and budget, and provide sponsors and management with clear, timely reporting on project health and outcomes.
- Develop and manage integrated plans, resource forecasts, approved funding, financial forecasts, actuals, risks, issues, decisions, and change requests.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, translating complex information into actionable decisions and influencing project direction.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to establish expectations, coordinate delivery, address performance concerns, and achieve contractual and project commitments.
- Anticipate and remove barriers, assess risk and organizational impact, negotiate priorities, and drive issues to resolution so teams can meet objectives.
The Minimum Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of Project management experience.
- 5+ years of Program management experience.
- 2+ years of Agile delivery experience.
The Ideal Qualifications (Preferred)
- 10+ years of project management experience.
- 5+ years of Agile delivery experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience delivering technology solutions or insurance products.
- Experience managing vendor delivery and vendor relationships.
- Experience managing project budgets, funding, forecasts, and actuals.
- Experience preparing written project communications and delivering verbal presentations to stakeholders.
- Experience delivering products or technology capabilities across multiple lines of business.
- Experience establishing project structures, delivery practices, or teams in an evolving environment.
- Demonstrated experience improving project delivery processes or operational practices.
