The Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors (AISS) Product Area, within the Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit is seeking an onsite program controls analyst (P1). The analyst will support the execution of several key strategic development programs for Raytheon. The analyst will work closely with finance management in supporting contractual Earned Value implementation, EAC Development, and AD Hoc Analysis.  The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced team environment, work across multiple organizations and levels of leadership, and meet deadlines. This candidate is detail focused, seeks process improvement and efficiency opportunities, and works to ensure the program successfully executes. This is a challenging and rewarding role with tremendous opportunity for experience and growth.

What You Will Do 

  • You will work closely with the program managers as well as cross-functional partners to facilitate financial results, while also maintaining excellent internal controls.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly program reports
  • Perform Adhoc Analysis
  • Tool implementation with process improvement focus
  • Support Contractual Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion.(EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, EVMS CDRL preparation (IPMR/IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR)
  • Data analysis and Variance development

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration
  • Experience with MS office (Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint).
  • Experience with forecasting, variance analysis and/or budgeting.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills including demonstrated ability to succinctly present complex information.
  • Ability to work within a fast-moving business.
  • Must be flexible and able to care for a wide range of work assignments with strong attention to detail and an ability to balance multiple projects & processes simultaneously.
  • Minimal direct supervision as well as being a self-starter.
  • Leverage critical thinking skills to provide value-added analysis to management.
  • Understanding of RTX financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Experience with application of finance principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
