Job Description
Are you a Data Governance expert and ready to combine your attention for detail and analytical mindset? You have found the right team. We are responsible for governance, change management, owner attestations, analytics, and reporting activities for the Product Catalog.
As a Data Governance Lead within the Payments Product Taxonomy team, you will be tasked with managing a comprehensive data governance program and spearheading all taxonomy-related initiatives. Your role will involve collaborating with over 100 Product Owners and Business Platform Owners to ensure the continued success of the Taxonomy.
Job Responsibilities

  • Enhance governing framework so that the Taxonomy program is effective for the growing use cases
  • Define roles and responsibilities to ensure alignment and appropriate oversight
  • Upgrade operating model for all Data Owners to manage, and obtain approvals, for their products
  • Build a connection with Change Management processes to reconcile product changes
  • Manage alignment with key partners such as Commercialization Teams and Marketing
  • Establish working relationships and interface with Product, Technology, and other subject matter experts
  • Monitor progress and outline key metrics for the Taxonomy


Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Data governance, change management and/or product data subject matter expertise
  • Strong understanding of Global Corporate & Commercial Banking business models and products
  • History of building partnerships and influencing others
  • Independent self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work through ambiguity to reach conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency combined with time management skills
  • Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
  • Significant professional experience in data and/or control functions
