The Implementation Specialist leads clients through the successful launch of technology solutions, from kickoff through production. Acting as the primary point of contact, this role brings together client stakeholders and internal teams to clarify requirements, coordinate timelines, configure solutions, support data integrations, and deliver a smooth implementation experience.

The ideal candidate is an organized, client-focused problem solver who can manage multiple projects and communicate comfortably with both business and technical audiences. You do not need to be a software developer, but you should be able to understand APIs, data flows, and system integrations well enough to guide discussions and troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

Client Implementation & Relationship Management

  • Lead multiple client implementations from kickoff through production, managing scope, requirements, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Understand client workflows, data sources, business needs, and integration requirements, then translate them into clear implementation plans.
  • Maintain project plans, action items, documentation, and timely status updates.
  • Coordinate closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Support, and other internal teams.
  • Identify challenges early, drive decisions, and keep implementations moving toward a successful launch.

Technical Integration

  • Use API documentation, technical specifications, and data samples to support implementation decisions.
  • Partner with client technical teams on solution configuration, data mapping, testing, and system integrations.
  • Troubleshoot data and integration issues, identify likely root causes, and engage internal technical experts when needed.
  • Validate data, test results, and production readiness against agreed business and technical requirements.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Create and maintain clear client, implementation, technical, and process documentation.
  • Improve implementation standards, templates, checklists, and resources to create a consistent client experience.
  • Share recurring client needs, integration challenges, and product enhancement opportunities with internal teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in software implementation, systems integration, business analysis, technical consulting, or a related field.

  • Client-facing experience in a technology, software, or SaaS environment.

  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, system integrations, and JSON and/or XML data structures.

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and translate complex information for different audiences.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple implementations and priorities with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with claims, insurance, financial services, healthcare, or other data-intensive environments.

  • Experience supporting complex data integrations or enterprise software implementations.

  • Project management or business analysis experience.

Success in This Role

Success in this position means clients can confidently move from implementation to production with a well-understood, thoroughly tested, and sustainable Medicare reporting integration. The Implementation Specialist is expected to be able to independently manage the business and implementation aspects of a project while having sufficient technical depth to understand API integrations, investigate issues, and effectively partner with client developers and internal technical teams.
