At Aumni, our Product team is on a mission to help all venture capital firms and LPs achieve peak performance with data-driven insights. We design and deliver a suite of investment tracking, portfolio monitoring, and data analytics tools that help investors make faster, smarter decisions.
As a Product Portfolio Operations- Sr Associate within the Product Operations team at Aumni, you will collaborate with various teams to create customer-focused product experiences. You will be responsible for the entire product development lifecycle and play a key role in formulating product strategy. Your technical expertise will be vital in overseeing engineering processes, systems, and technologies. This position offers the chance to be a part of significant organizational transformation and to excel in a rapid, technology-oriented setting.
Role is technical in that you need to have an understanding of engineering processes/systems/technologies, and be comfortable with JIRA, Confluence and ideally Notion etc. but not really the BI analyst / dashboard building bits
Job Responsibilities
  • Delivery of technical engineering programs including leading risk and control forums.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to optimize processes, streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on roadmap progress, resource utilization, and operational performance, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and cross functional teams to regularly identify dependencies, process gaps, and other executional blockers so that each team member can do their best, most focused work possible. We work primarily in Teams, Monday, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Manage JIRA planning and capacity, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely delivery of projects.
  • Increase transparency and trust across the organization by driving meetings and collaboration channels, including, sprint and roadmap reviews.
  • Enable continuous improvement, ensuring learnings are captured, shared, and integrated through retrospectives or other forums.
  • Possess a high-level of attention-to-detail, communication, and writing skills, and are excited to tackle problems of large organizational change including capacity considerations.
  • Show your Entrepreneurial spirit & ability to wear many hats with minimal direction.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Have 3+ years of experience working in a financial or technology company.
  • You have experience with senior stakeholder management and engineering, product and design projects leveraging Jira and Confluence.
  • You have good attention to detail and passion for solving problems
  • You have the ability to thrive in ambiguity with organization and asking the right questions
  • You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have comfort working in a tech-driven environment with the ability to coordinate across several stakeholder groups (Engineering, Design, Compliance, Business Development, Banking, Operations)
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a project management orientation with the ability to communicate issues/concerns before they become fires and facilitate the right stakeholders in a discussion to solve for them
  • Open and transparent working style, with the ability to communicate up and down
  • The ability to navigate a matrixed organization and influence peers

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • You have strong Excel and Powerpoint skills and ability to recognize and analyze trends in data is a plus.
  • Product Ops and/or Technical program management experience at a financial or technology company
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
