We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Product Portfolio Manager to lead the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for RetinaOS, our innovative cloud-based clinical workflow and inventory management system tailored for Retina practices. This role is ideal for a senior professional who thrives in a complex, cross-functional environment and is passionate about transforming healthcare operations through technology.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision:
Define and drive the strategic direction of RetinaOS, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
Identify market trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
Portfolio Management:
Oversee the full suite of RetinaOS modules, including Drug Vial Life Cycle, On-Hand Inventory, Inventory Management, Drug Reconciliation, Just-in-Time Ordering, Clinical Trials, and Prior Auth.
Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, customer feedback, and technical feasibility.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product development and go-to-market execution.
Serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers.
Customer-Centric Innovation:
Engage with client practices to gather insights and validate product concepts.
Champion user experience improvements and workflow optimization.
Analytics & Performance:
Define and track KPIs to measure product success and adoption.
Use data-driven insights to refine product strategy and improve outcomes for Retina practices.
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
Critical Skills
Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience, with a strong background in product management, healthcare technology, or SaaS platforms.
Proven experience managing complex products in a healthcare or clinical setting.
Strong understanding of inventory management, clinical workflows, reimbursement, and prior authorization processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently with significant latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
Preferred Skills
Experience with clinical workflow software.
Familiarity with ophthalmology or Retina practice operations.
Agile product development and project management experience.
