The Team

We are a group of vibrant, diverse people who love travelling and never settle on quality. Each one of us didn’t join Welcome by chance and believes deeply in what Welcome is trying to achieve, so we work relentlessly to make that happen. We challenge common logic, focus on design, put simplicity and usability first, and create memorable experiences. We keep learning and exploring better ways to serve our community and grow personally and professionally in our respective fields. We stay humble along the way, with a “pay it forward” mentality, but with big and bold goals.

As a Product Owner in Pricing Systems & Process Improvement you will play a pivotal role in elevating the way we manage and scale pricing across our global marketplace. This is a unique role that blends analytical thinking, process optimization, and product development.

You’ll work closely with Pricing Analysts, BI, Operations, and Engineering to lead projects that improve pricing efficiency and performance. Your focus will be on enabling better decisions through tooling, automation, and enhanced data visibility — including commercial signals (CVR, demand curves), driver engagement, and margin %.

You will also help identify opportunities to integrate AI tools into our pricing workflows to improve accuracy, responsiveness, and insight.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing-related process improvement projects across BI, Product, and Pricing teams.
  • Own the backlog of pricing tooling and data features, ensuring we can collect and act on key commercial signals (e.g., quotes, conversion, driver cost feedback, margin trends).
  • Collaborate with BI to improve data pipelines and dashboards that support pricing workflows and reviews.
  • Launch internal product features that enable better configuration, experimentation, and transparency in pricing.
  • Work with Engineering to enhance the pricing infrastructure, from rule engines to driver communication inputs.
  • Identify areas where AI can be applied to improve pricing accuracy, forecast demand, or automate repetitive pricing tasks.
  • Serve as a bridge between product and pricing operations, ensuring both business needs and system capabilities are aligned.
  • Continuously monitor, document, and iterate on pricing processes to drive operational excellence and commercial outcomes.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years in a pricing, product, or operations role with intense exposure to data analysis and cross-functional execution.
  • Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, or similar).
  • Experience managing or contributing to internal tools, product backlogs, or process automation efforts.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to document workflows and gather requirements clearly from diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for improving systems and driving smarter decisions through better tools and data.

Nice-to-have

    • Experience in marketplaces, mobility, or travel tech
    • Exposure to pricing rule engines or promotional pricing mechanics
    • Familiarity with product delivery frameworks (Agile, Kanban)
    • Prior use of AI tools (e.g., demand forecasting, generative reporting, or data enrichment)
Benefits
  • Vibrant and fresh work environment
  • Flexible work-from-home policy
  • The tools you need to perform your daily tasks successfully
  • L&D personal budget
  • Private Insurance Plan
  • The unique opportunity to join “the next big thing” at ground level
