Lead operational strategy for the Consumer Payments team, drive alignment on complex topics, enhance workflows, and leverage AI to optimize processes.
About Us
At Félix, we're building the financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., starting with a revolution in remittances. Our core product is an AI-powered chatbot built on WhatsApp, allowing our users to send money home as easily as sending a text message. We leverage cutting-edge technology like AI, blockchain, and stablecoins to make cross-border payments faster, more affordable, and more accessible than ever before.
We are a hyper-growth Series B company, backed by over $100 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, and General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award. We are a group of extremely talented and dedicated high-performers, united by our shared obsession with a single goal: empowering our customers. We are all owners of Félix, driven by a bias for action and a true experimentation spirit to get shit done with urgency and focus.
Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long. We are a team that is fiercely loyal to each other, where radical transparency and constructive feedback are how we grow and push for excellence. We are bold, we care less about what others are doing, and more about creating sustainable value and a product that truly makes our users' lives better. We are building the future, today.
The Product Operations Lead will be the strategic right-hand and multiplier for the VP of Consumer Payments (CP) and squad leaders. Embedded inside our highest-leverage product vertical, your mission is to co-lead the crystallization, communication, and execution of the team's long-term strategy. You will ensure proper operational excellence and accountability across squads, while driving alignment on major cross-functional topics with the company's senior stakeholders.
This role is built for a highly independent, intellectually curious operator who possesses sharp business sense and thrives in high-ambiguity environments. You are the master weaver who brings structure to chaos without introducing corporate bureaucracy. You will own the operational rhythm of the team—from roadmap summits to OKR architectures—while figuring out how to operationally maximize cutting-edge levers like multi-product collaboration and advanced AI integration.
- Partner directly with the VP of Consumer Payments and squad leaders to translate broad strategic visions into crisp, high-impact presentations and clear organizational directions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Co-lead alignment on massive, complex strategic topics across internal leaders. Key immediate tracks include.
- Scaling the maximum possible use of AI tools across our pipelines while tightly interfacing with the AI engineering team and remaining deeply fraud and compliance-conscious.
- Designing and operationalizing workflows that allow seamless multi-product feature interaction.
- Partner closely with Data Analytics and User Research teams to uncover hidden user opportunities, land key product discoveries, and turn raw data into structured, actionable business decisions.
- Continually audit and optimize day-to-day operations (high-leverage meetings, ClickUp architectures, documentation) to inject speed and visibility—focused strictly on execution, avoiding process for the sake of process.
- Co-drive the framework for OKR setting, tracking milestones, and orchestrating the periodic Roadmap Summits to keep cross-functional dependencies fully aligned and delivery on plan.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating in fast-growing, hyper-scaling startup environments. You are deeply hardworking, resilient, and focused on execution.
- Ability to operate with complete independence, add immediate clarity inside highly ambiguous environments, and make sound, data-backed operational trade-offs.
- Strong capability for data analysis and structured thinking. You are highly organized in how you approach problems and can seamlessly read, synthesize, and leverage metrics.
- Elite stakeholder management skills. You can comfortably guide, influence, and align diverse, cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Compliance, Finance) without relying on direct authority.
- Familiarity managing agile product-management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Notion) and modern tracking frameworks (OKRs / Roadmaps).
- Curious about modern technology trends. Experience or clear understanding of how to operationalize AI, automation, or scalable financial product workflows is highly valued.
- 100% fluent in both English and Spanish is required, as you will host meetings and build executive reporting for global cross-functional leadership.
- These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
