About the Role 

ValGenesis is seeking a Product Marketing Manager with expertise in Life Sciences drug development (CMC related) and regulatory processes to drive the product marketing activities for ValGenesis’ Process Lifecycle Suite. This individual will act as a product advocate and evangelist, clearly articulating ValGenesis’ unique value proposition to the market and as well as educating our internal teams. He/She/They will develop a strong understanding of product capabilities and combine that with their industry knowledge and experience to create content and programs that communicate value and drive revenue.  


What You’ll Do 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Product Management and Sales to develop and deliver innovative and compelling content such as messaging, campaigns, marketing collateral, sales materials and thought leadership to position ValGenesis’ solutions in the Life Sciences industry. 
  • Leverage life science industry domain knowledge of drug development (CMC) regulatory and manufacturing processes to develop bold messaging and positioning for ValGenesis Process Lifecycle Suite that will differentiate it in the market. 
  • Create and execute strategies for product launches, including defining product positioning, developing marketing materials, and lead and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholder teams.  
  • Act as a thought leader and evangelist for ValGenesis products, participating in speaking engagements at industry conferences, authoring thought leadership content and engaging with the ValGenesis customer and prospect base. 
  • Develop and conduct sales enablement activities in support of product launches and throughout the product lifecycle. Partner with Product Management team to communicate the value proposition of the product to the Sales team. 
  • Create content to articulate the benefits of ValGenesis products. Examples include data sheets, infographics, solution briefs, white papers, user guides, web tutorials, web content, presentations, sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, release announcements, etc.  
  • Competitive intelligence and win / loss analysis support.  Includes business and regulatory trends, key players, and potential disruptions. Be the expert on competition. Follow and analyze market trends to position the product and help identify new required capabilities. 
Requirements
  • An understanding of drug development, quality, manufacturing or regulatory in Life Science (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device). Experience can be from within industry as a practitioner or marketing of enterprise software serving these market functions. 
  • Experienced in developing marketing assets and sales tools with ability to enable internal business development teams. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a technical discipline; MBA desirable 
  • Experience in product marketing of enterprise software preferred 
  • A familiarity with Challenger Sales and Pragmatic Institute frameworks a plus 
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision and be accountable for actions  
  • Strong research, analytical and writing skills 
  • Accountable, flexible, driven, dependable 
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities 
  • Strong collaborator with experience in cross-functional teams 
  • Attention to detail and organizationally oriented
