Aptiv is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Product Marketing Manager to
support the growth of its Adjacent Markets portfolio, including robotics, drones,
industrial automation, and emerging sensing solutions. This new role will serve as
the market-facing expert for the quickly evolving portfolio, helping Aptiv translate
complex technologies into clear commercial narratives, compelling customer-
facing experiences, and actionable go-to-market programs.

Working closely with product management, sales, creative, events, digital, and
communications teams, the Product Marketing Manager will connect competitive
insights, industry context, product capabilities, modular platforms, and industry
use cases with coherent positioning, messaging, priorities and execution plans.

The successful candidate will have a business mindset, paired with strong technical curiosity, cross-functional leadership, and operational discipline. They will be
highly credible with product, strategy, engineering, commercial, creative, and
digital teams, and will have the ability to quickly develop an in-depth
understanding of Aptiv's technology strategy, growth priorities, competitive
landscape, and business objectives.

This person should be a systems thinker who is comfortable navigating ambiguity
and complexity, identifying patterns across products, technologies, customers,
industries, and use cases.

Positioning, Messaging & Portfolio Storytelling
• Develop compelling positioning, value propositions, and messaging
frameworks.
• Translate technical concepts into clear, differentiated customer-facing
narratives.
• Understand and articulate the relationship between products, platforms, and
industry-specific use cases.
• Use up-to-date competitive and market intelligence to create messaging that
articulates our unique value propositions.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to ensure technical
capabilities are represented accurately in market-facing content, sales tools,
and digital experiences.

Commercialization & Go-to-Market Support
• Partner with Product Management to support commercialization strategies for
new and existing solutions, while providing market, customer, and competitive
context.
• Lead marketing support for product launches, industry initiatives, opportunity

marketing, sales enablement, and strategic customer engagement.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to develop account-specific messaging,
presentation materials, and engagement strategies.

Focal Point for Leveraging Broader Marketing Support
• Identify strategic themes, industry conversations, and emerging trends that
align with Aptiv's growth objectives, and use that information to support
buildout of content and digital experiences.
• Partner with the Thought Leadership team to create external narratives that
are market-informed, technically grounded, commercially relevant, and
strengthen Aptiv's credibility and visibility.
• Develop clear and actionable creative briefs for web, collateral, campaign,
event, video, presentation, and sales enablement projects.
• Help creative, digital, content, and events teams prioritize work based on
business objectives, market opportunity, customer needs, and launch timelines.

Background Experience

10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, Strategic
Marketing, Product Management, or related B2B technology roles
• Demonstrated track record developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-
market strategies for technical products and platforms
• Proven ability to understand complex product ecosystems and communicate
them in an accessible, customer-relevant way
• Experience creating content, sales tools, campaigns, presentations, and event
materials
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management across
technical, commercial, creative, and digital teams
• Experience leveraging AI tools for research, synthesis, ideation, content
development, brief creation, and rapid prototyping
• Strong ability to gather, synthesize, and apply competitive intelligence and
market insights.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with high
proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, information technology,
or a related field
• Experience in robotics autonomy, drones, industrial automation, embedded
systems, automotive, aerospace, defense, or related technology sectors

• Able to use data, market feedback, and performance insights to improve
marketing effectiveness and support commercial outcome

• Able to earn trust with Product Management, Engineering, Business

Development, Sales, Creative, Digital, Communications, and senior marketing
stakeholders
• Strong communicator who can tailor messages for technical, commercial,
executive, and creative audiences external resources, including marketing agencies and vendors.
