Under the direction of the Product Lead (for a specific business, segment, or capability set), the Senior Product Manager will define and drive the product vision and roadmap for assigned products, features, and capabilities. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and independence and serves as a subject matter expert on existing capabilities, competitive positioning, and market dynamics. The Senior Product Manager partners closely with Product Owners, design, technology, and scrum teams to ensure effective roadmap development and execution.
Job Functions, Essential Duties, and ResponsibilitiesProduct Vision and Roadmap- Clearly articulate the objectives for assigned products, features, and/or capabilities and define the path to achieving them
- Develop and own the product vision with a strong focus on measurable outcomes
- Lead roadmap development in partnership with design, technology, and scrum teams
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to translate the roadmap into compelling external messaging (“selling futures”)
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive dynamics, including relative market positioning
- Identify new opportunities for differentiation, innovation, and growth
- Develop a deep understanding of how target audiences engage with our products across the full customer journey
- Define and own an end-to-end view of the customer experience and all associated interactions
- Partner with UX/design teams to plan customer engagement and gather actionable feedback
- Oversee customer research to inform product requirements and priorities
- Maintain a relentless focus on usability by identifying and resolving key customer pain points
- Partner with the Product Lead to maximize the value of assigned products, features, and/or capabilities across the business
- Establish and manage success metrics; take accountability for achieving defined goals
- Partner with segment leaders and shared services to drive adoption across the client base
- Create and enhance internal and external documentation that clearly communicates the full product offering
- Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for assigned products and capabilities
- Partner closely with Product Owners and scrum teams to develop data-driven, outcomes-based roadmaps
- Translate customer insights, business needs, and desired outcomes into prioritized, actionable roadmaps
- Ensure alignment between vision, execution, and measurable results
- Proven ability to define a compelling product vision with clear success metrics
- Experience owning and driving product roadmaps using Agile methodologies
- Strong leadership skills, including people management and influence without authority
- Ability to deliver results with limited oversight
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional partnership abilities
- Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively, and manage competing demands
- Self-motivated with high integrity and professional ethics
- 5–7+ years of product management experience in Retirement, Wealth Management, or Financial Services
- Experience delivering digital experiences across web, mobile, and cross-channel platforms
- Deep understanding of the retirement industry and competitive landscape
- Adaptable, resilient, and decisive

Compensation and Benefits
The national average salary range for this role is $130,000–$150,000 in base pay, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, performance, and internal pay alignment. While candidates typically do not start at the top of the range, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
