Job Summary & Responsibilities

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Product discovery & research to create all fundamental deliverables required to design, build, and launch a new Granite product, including which stakeholders to involve at certain points in the process
  • Basic system and web application design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to define and execute product launch plans, drive progress against goals, resolve challenges and blockers
  • Lead daily stand ups
  • Proficient in Jira Software
  • Write user stories and product requirements
  • Gather and analyze user research and market analysis to inform product decisions
  • Ensure products and features integrate tightly with existing Salesforce CRM and OSS functionality
  • Create documentation including but not limited to user guides, “AI friendly” content, executive reporting, sales forecast reporting, process guides, pitch decks, product requirements, training plans, standard operating procedures for other business units
  • Drive user adoption & revenue for Technology built applications and mitigate churn
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities to validate the application's performance, functionality, and user experience
  • Provide ongoing support and training documentation for end-users (both internal and external)
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to web applications and process management, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop communication strategies for multiple levels of stakeholder involvement with effective messaging at all stakeholder levels
  • Night/overnight work sometimes required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of relevant industry experience with at least 2 years in Product Management
  • Bachelor's degree (or relevant degree equivalent): STEM subject ideal but not essential (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences)
  • Experience working with a cross-functional product team on a significant product area: Crafting product vision and strategy, defining product requirements, coordinating resources from other groups (marketing, legal, etc.), and driving the team to achieve key milestones and goals
  • Experience managing a product through multiple product life cycle phases Proven experience to drive a material change in the performance of a product and the effectiveness of the team that delivers that product
  • Demonstrated experience to analyze large scale, complex data sets and making effective decisions based on data
  • Experience integrating a diverse set of requirements from a broad set of users as well as context into a single coherent product strategy
  • Experience leading and motivating a product team and collaborating with partner teams
  • Demonstrated experience in communication, bringing extreme clarity to complex messages
