At Vestmark, we’re on a mission to enable financial institutions and advisors to deliver better outcomes for their clients. As a leader in portfolio management solutions, we’re seeking a Product Manager to evolve our business process automation. In this role, you’ll focus on building capabilities to streamline new client onboarding and automate areas of our internal business processes. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the business process automation product roadmap — from vision through execution — within Vestmark’s platform
  • Collaborate across product, engineering, client delivery and UX teams to deliver seamless, user-friendly experiences
  • Translate user feedback and business goals into clear product requirements
  • Define key success metrics and continuously evaluate product performance
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our core values: We Before Me, Positive Energy, Knowledge Explorer, and Own It.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in wealthtech, fintech, or financial services
  • Strong domain knowledge of advisor technology and wealth management workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to build and iterate on operational efficiency tools
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, especially across cross-functional teams
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to balance internal operational efficiency gains, advisor needs, platform scalability, and business impact
  • Familiarity with agile product development and modern SaaS delivery models
  • AI & Technology Knowledge
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts, natural language processing, and AI model development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of wealth management industry, investment advisory services, and RIA operations
  • Understanding of custodial relationships, trading workflows, and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision making
  • Experience working with data scientists, ML engineers, and AI researchers

Nice to Have:

  • Experience developing and refining AI-powered capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with AI/ML product development in regulated industries
  • Knowledge of direct indexing, tax optimization, and portfolio management concepts enhanced by AI
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and model risk management
  • Scrum certification (CSM/CPO) and/or AI product management certifications
  • Previous experience in client onboarding or implementation roles with automation focus

Vestmark takes a market-based approach to compensation to ensure we pay fairly and competitively. Compensation for this role depends on several factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, job scope and location.

In addition to base salary, Vestmark offers a comprehensive total rewards package, which includes equity-based grants for all new hires, company-paid medical premiums of 90%, a competitive time-off program, and other variable compensation, if eligible.

$125,000$140,000 USD
