Gupta Media was founded 20 years ago on the idea that advertising could create huge leverage in our clients' businesses. We have a global client base across entertainment (Sony Music, Disney), big brands (Amazon, Fender), sports (Washington Commanders, Florida Panthers, Women's Tennis Association), as well as a growing local roster of B2B and B2C brands (Bright Horizons, Zoo New England, City of Boston).
We do our best work when our specialties — media buying, creative services, and technology solutions — are working in unison. Our in-house team of Software Engineers builds custom reporting and management tools that empower these teams to deliver high-impact campaigns for our clients.
We are looking for a Product Manager to ensure that our technology roadmap is tightly aligned with the evolving needs of our business and clients.
Role Overview
As the Product Manager, you will serve as the bridge between our business stakeholders (media, creative, analytics, and client service teams) and our engineering team. You will own the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization process for our internal tools, ensuring that we build the right features at the right time to maximize value for the agency. You will be responsible for:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and communicate a clear vision for our internal software tools, aligned with agency goals.
- Translate business needs into product opportunities that improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and campaign performance;
- Build and maintain a product roadmap that balances short-term wins with long-term strategic investments;
- Partner with media, creative, and client-facing teams to gather requirements and pain points, clearly articulating tradeoffs and setting expectations with stakeholders.
Execution & Delivery
- Write product requirements and user stories;
- Work closely with the engineering team during development, ensuring features are built to spec and delivered;
- Coordinate testing, rollout, and adoption support for new features;
- Monitor usage and gather feedback to refine products post-launch;
- Track industry trends in martech and recommend opportunities for innovation.
Who You Are
- 4+ years of product management experience, with experience with marketing/advertising technology strongly preferred;
- Understanding of digital marketing workflows — media planning, buying, reporting, creative production;
- Experience with Agile development practices;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to translate technical details into business language and vice versa;
- Analytical mindset with a bias toward action and iteration;
- Experience with tools such as Jira for managing and tracking product features and roadmaps;
- Able to devise and track concrete metrics for measuring performance;
- Technical familiarity (SQL, APIs, data visualization, or prior work with engineers) is a plus but not required.
