The Product Manager will lead a team in enhancing member recommendations, focusing on product quality and user experience through collaboration with business and technical teams.
Raya product managers should have 3+ years working on consumer mobile products. They are hands-on, diligent, and deliver products efficiently, with a focus on quality and an obsession with Raya members' experience. Finally, they believe in Raya’s vision, which is to enrich lives by fostering relationships through quality, in-person interactions.

What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the team responsible for our member recommendations on the core Raya app
- Develop deep, nuanced understanding of our unique product and the expectations of our global community, becoming a subject-matter expert regarding our recommendation philosophy and systems.
- Partner with business leaders, engineers, and data scientists to ideate, prioritize, plan, and ship impactful adjustments and improvements.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strongly versed in agile methodology and technical ticket writing
- The ability to clearly synthesize and execute the company’s product vision as it relates to recommendations
- Strong product intuition, deep understanding of our community, and ability to motivate and inspire a team
- A team player who can collaborate and build trust with engineers, data science and other cross-functional teammates
- Ability to independently initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Communicate concisely and influence outcomes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing a product development roadmap and shipping consumer products
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Track record of working on products with a high quality bar.
- Experience across the entire product lifecycle including: defining product needs, ideation, prioritization, development, pre/post-launch execution including A/B tests and analysis
- Experience running agile teams and processes
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Experience leading teams working with algorithmic recommendation systems and machine learning
- Strong in projecting timelines and building roadmaps
- A passion for helping people meet using technology
- No task is too big or too small
