About the Team:

The Content organization is responsible for identifying, creating or licensing and integrating best-in-class unstructured and structured content into the AlphaSense platform. The team reports to the Chief Content Officer and has strategy, product and content management, collection operations and support responsibilities for each Content vertical. We have been experiencing rapid growth across all content sets. We value and uphold transparency, trust, and accountability in our relationships within the Content teams and with external partners and internal stakeholders.

About the Role: 

We are seeking a Product Manager for New Content Evaluation and Analysis to help us expand and strengthen the breadth, quality, and value of the data and content that power our Platform. Candidates should have deep knowledge of capital markets and investment research combined with extensive experience of evaluating and integrating financial research content and AI-powered investment analysis workflows.

Major Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Identify the Need and Showcase the Value:  Help identify and evaluate third-party quantitative and qualitative datasets and content for the needs of the AlphaSense platform (e.g. market data, fundamentals, estimates, ESG, news, research, transcripts, regulatory filings, and alternative data). Work alongside Partnership Management and Content Leads to assess data quality, methodology, licensing terms, and integration feasibility.
  • Lead the Due Diligence Effort: Run point on active vendor evaluations, including data trials, support proofs of concept, and own the framework to evaluate coverage, timeliness, accuracy, and history analysis. Help build content org-wide business case for new datasets and quantify value proposition, cost, buy vs build impact, and strategic fit
  • Become a Use Case Expert for AlphaSense content. Contribute to market research and competitive analysis to identify net new opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Identify new high impact AI-driven functionality and data sets and formulate the licensing target vendor or self-sourcing strategy to introduce new content into the AlphaSense platform and agentic workflows.
  • Market Research and Assessment: Track industry trends and competing platforms, solutions, and content to deliver competitive intelligence and better evolve product and content vision. Keep abreast of a rapidly evolving competitive landscape and client expectations along with unprecedented LLM and AI workflow advances. 
Who You Are:
  • You have genuine excitement and passion for corporate finance, capital markets, and investment research coupled with data management expertise demonstrated either in previous capacity at a buy-side or sell-side firm or you have successfully supported AI products/features/data used by investment and data analysis professionals
  • You have natural enthusiasm for working at the intersection of AI, data, technology, and investment research and track record of expert-level data analysis at scale using traditional data query or generative AI tools and platforms
  • You have the energy and enthusiasm to work in a high-paced, high-growth environment and you are comfortable accommodating rapidly changing business priorities
  • You have excellent presentation skills with demonstrated ability to inform and influence executives and align with multiple levels of stakeholders
  • You have driven successful due diligence project outcomes or run content evaluations with diverse businesses and teams across multiple locations 
  • You demonstrate empathic communication, with the ability to listen and identify problems in need of solutions

What We Are Looking For: 

  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience at a leading financial institution or investment research platform firm focused on the delivery or evaluation of content, features, analytics, and models for front-office investment professionals
  • Expert knowledge of contemporary market data and investment research databases, products, and workflow tools (e.g.: Fundamentals, Estimates, Transactions data, Ownership data, Market data, News, Transcripts)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a dedicated cross-functional product development or evaluation teams of engineers, content leads, and vendor management professionals
  • Thorough understanding of the logic and concepts of relational and JSON databases. Demonstrated experience of running complex data queries and analyses using traditional data- query or contemporary generative AI techniques is a must
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, stay focused, and meet or beat deadlines
  • BSc degree or material academic background in a quantitative analysis field 

PREFERRED

  • Experience in content acquisition and licensing
  • Prior experience at a market intelligence or financial research SaaS start-up
  • Exposure to iterative / agile development methodologies in the context of product development
  • Experience working with distributed teams

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

Base Compensation Range
$140,000—$175,000 USD
