In this role, you will:
- Lead the Receivables Payment Acceptance organization and develop product leaders with clear accountability for strategy, execution, financial performance, risk and client outcomes.
- Own and execute a comprehensive payment acceptance strategy across paper and electronic methods, with emphasis on digital adoption, integrated experiences and paper-to-electronic migration.
- Define the target-state portfolio and multiyear roadmap based on client needs, market trends, emerging payment rails, technology evolution, competitive dynamics, operational capacity and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver measurable client value, including faster funds availability, reduced days sales outstanding, higher straight-through processing, improved reconciliation and a more connected presentment-to-payment experience.
- Own portfolio P&L and performance management, including analysis for revenue, profitability, pricing, investment prioritization, attrition, pipeline, and adoption performance.
- Develop and commercialize differentiated propositions for large originators, billers and other commercial clients across segments, including API-enabled, integrated and embedded acceptance experiences.
- Translate client insights, sales feedback, market research and portfolio data into product priorities, business requirements, investment cases, and commercialization strategies.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle, including discovery, development, launch, pricing, servicing, modernization, migration, platform consolidation, rationalization and retirement.
- Partner across Merchant Services, Payables, Commercial Card, Digital, Sales, Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk, Legal and Compliance to align capabilities, dependencies and go-to-market execution.
- Establish a strong product risk and control environment across product development, change management, implementation, third-party management and ongoing product performance.
- Represent the portfolio with senior leaders, clients and relevant industry forums; communicate strategy, performance, investment needs, risks, tradeoffs and decisions with clarity.
- Manage people and financial resources, set operating rhythms and decision rights, and foster a culture of client focus, disciplined execution, talent development and accountability.
- 10+ years of Product Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Significant leadership experience in treasury management, receivables, merchant acquiring, payment acceptance, transaction banking or commercial payments.
- Demonstrated success setting strategy and leading a complex product portfolio that combines mature, operationally intensive products with new digital capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of Receivables and payment acceptance solutions, such as ACH and direct debit, wire receive, instant payments, request for payment, lockbox, remote deposit, cash acceptance, bill payment, merchant acquiring or payment gateways.
- Proven P&L leadership, including sustainable revenue growth, margin improvement, pricing strategy, expense discipline, attrition management and evidence-based investment prioritization.
- Experience leading paper-to-electronic migration, product modernization, platform consolidation, client migration or another large-scale, multi-year transformation.
- Experience managing products with significant operational, regulatory, data and technology complexity, including third-party and change risk.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through a highly matrixed organization and influence senior stakeholders across product, sales, technology, operations, finance, risk and control functions.
- Executive-level communication and decision-making skills, including the ability to simplify complexity, frame tradeoffs and build alignment around strategic priorities.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, technology or a related field.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
