Key Responsibilities:

Product management coaching:

  • Mentor and coach product managers and cross-functional teams on best practices in product management, including discovery, delivery, driving adoption, etc.
  • Develop and implement frameworks for customer-centric product development, road-mapping, and prioritization.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to upskill teams on product development, hypothesis-driven validation, and outcome orientation
  • Introduce and embed practices such as design thinking, continuous delivery, MVP, to ensure rapid experimentation and data-driven decision-making
  • Support teams in implementing effective backlog management, iterative delivery, and feedback loops
  • Design and deliver coaching and training programs for key roles including product and platform management, and stand up communities of practice

Transformation leadership:

  • Own capability building pieces of the product and platform transformation roadmap
  • Drive cultural change by fostering a product mindset across the organization, ensuring alignment with agile principles
  • Partner with executive leadership and stakeholders to define transformation objectives, key success measures, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Identify and address challenges in scaling product teams, optimizing team structures, and improving cross-functional collaboration.

Stakeholder and change management:

  • Work closely with leadership, engineering, product and others to shape product strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Act as a change agent, helping teams navigate resistance and drive adoption of new processes and ways of working
  • Communicate complex concepts in a clear and actionable manner to diverse audiences, from executives to development teams.

This role is ideal for a passionate leader who thrives on empowering teams, driving change, and fostering a product-driven culture in organizations.

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in product management
  • Deep expertise in leading product management capabilities (e.g., OKRs, product roadmaps)
  • Experience building teams and coaching product leaders in an agile environment
  • Ability to influence and navigate complex situations without direct authority
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $134,000.00.
