In addition, it sells its products under brand names licensed to the company, including adidas, Wolford, Wilson, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger and others. 

Role Overview 

The Product Development Manager will be responsible for working cross-functionally with Design to ensure development from concept to production.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively work with design to ensure product is developed according to timelines.
  • Manage Time & Action calendars.
  • Work diligently with design and customer by attending fittings for on-time approval of proto/fit samples and comments to the factory.
  • Daily communication with Design on issues as they arise.
  • Resolve materials, patterns and color issues with all the appropriate functional teams.
  • Maintain and update color BOM seasonally.
  • Send all artwork and color standards to the FTY for development.
  • Other Ad Hoc duties assigned by Design and Production Directors to support the needs of the departments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development
  • Ability to influence, build and manage relationships with design as well as develop partnership with sales teams
  • Must be highly proficient in PLM, Microsoft Suite - especially Excel
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-motivated and collaborate well with teams and cross-functional partners
  • Problem solver who can work well in a demanding deadline driven environment
  • Motivated, proactive, highly organized and detail oriented as well as strong adaptability
  • Strong communication skills

This an on-site position with 5 days in our Secaucus, NJ office 


PAY RATE: $90,000/yr-$115,000/yr
