Job Description:

As a member of our Design Team, you’ll work alongside a talented group of Product Designers dedicated to pushing creative boundaries, solving complex user needs, and continuously evolving our design system. We pride ourselves on a culture of collaboration and support, where taking our work seriously doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the process. This opening is specifically for a Product Designer who will work on existing products like Concierge and Handoff, while also harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence with Chili Agents.

About Chili Agents:
Chili Agents are AI-powered Agents that work on very specific tasks within our Demand Conversion Platform, helping Marketers and RevOps become more efficient and productive. Several are currently being explored, with two already live: Chat AI and Spam Checker Agent.

Role Overview:
As a Product Designer on the Chili Agents Team, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of how to set up Agents in Chili Piper. Collaborating closely with your Product Manager and developers, you’ll design Agents that simplify the everyday tasks of our users. Your focus will be on making complex processes intuitive and easy to navigate, ensuring that every interaction is seamless, efficient, and visually appealing.

In addition, we are looking for someone who will provide support for our Concierge-ChiliCal-Handoff (CCH) team as they maintain our existing products.

Strong English communication skills and experience designing on Figma are a must for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design efforts for our Chili Agents team, owning the end-to-end process from concept to final UI.

  • Provide full support to our Concierge-ChiliCal-Handoff Team.

  • Tackle complex, enterprise-level challenges and turn them into simple, intuitive user experiences.

  • Initiate research and discovery efforts in collaboration with our Head of Research to inform your design decisions.

  • Contribute innovative ideas for product improvements and new features, using your skills in prototyping to bring your ideas to life.

  • Maintain high visual standards by utilizing and expanding our Design System.

  • Define success metrics in collaboration with your team and work towards achieving them.

  • Stay informed about competitors and the needs of our target personas.

What We're Looking For:

  • Curious and Proactive: Naturally inclined to ask questions, explore new ideas, and dive deep into understanding problems. You take initiative to turn insights into actionable solutions and drive progress.

  • Autonomous and Collaborative: Able to work independently while thriving in a team environment, where collaboration and open communication are key.

  • Design Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the design process, from ideation to execution, with proficiency in UI, visual design, and prototyping. Your portfolio reflects this expertise.

  • Drawn to New Technologies: Seeker of experimentation with new technologies and platforms, especially around Artificial Intelligence, to either help improve current workflows or solve customer pain-points in innovative ways.

  • Iterative and Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to continuously test, iterate, and refine features to successfully deliver products that meet customer needs.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a passion for refining and perfecting your designs.

  • Customer-Focused: A strong customer-oriented mindset with a track record of creating solutions that meet and exceed user needs.

  • Feedback-Oriented: Open and proactive communicator who values feedback as a crucial part of both the design process and personal development.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift, and requirements are not always well-defined.

Bonus:

  • Product-Led Growth: Experience in product-led growth strategies and/or working with scheduling tools.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with sales or marketing automation platforms.

Additional Information

Why you'll love being a part of our team:

Our team loves Chili Piper because we’re building the company of the future.

  • Work with an immensely talented global team

  • Work in a business that’s run fairly and transparently

  • Competitive pay based on market rate wherever you live

  • We lead by example--showing industry peers and leaders how to innovate, improve, and grow--while having fun

How we work:

  • Freedom and flexibility. We’re a 100% distributed team working from around the world, and we've been fully remote since 2016. Our team members can work from wherever they want in the world, as long as they show up on our weekly all hands meeting on Zoom.

  • Solve interesting problems. The software landscape has exploded. There are dozens of solutions for each problem. We want to be different. We come up with new angles on existing problems or invent better solutions to help companies with their sales and marketing. Then we turn these ideas into beautiful, smart software.

  • Autonomy and ownership. Working on a distributed team means you don’t have someone micromanaging you or looking over your shoulder to make sure you’re getting things done. We’re a team of do-ers who take full ownership for their results.

  • Be helpful. Our first value as a company is help. Help our customers be successful. Help our prospects get the right information and make the right decision whether or not it includes our products. Help our team members reach their full potential.

The perks:

  • Unlimited vacation (and we do mean it, and we do take it!)

  • Generous health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Any equipment/software/tech that you need to do your job

  • Annual professional development stipend of $2,000 USD

  • Equity - all Pipers receive stock options

  • Annual company retreat for a week of bonding and adventure (previous retreat locations include Paris, Morocco, Tulum, Iceland, Ibiza, and India!)

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
