About the Product Designer, Mezo

As a Product Designer at Mezo, you’ll get to shape the future of Bitcoin by working on Mezo. Your mission will be to create intuitive, meaningful, visually appealing, and seamless interfaces that empower people to get access to their Bitcoin’s spending power without having to ever sell it, trade it, or lose custody of it.

Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable and curious about web3, has a strong understanding of blockchain technology, and is passionate about creating delightful user experiences that empower individuals.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll collaborate with cross-functional product teams to develop and implement design solutions that meet business and user needs.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and enhance the user experience.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
  • Maintain our existing design system, and ensure consistency and scalability across our products. And when appropriate, can evolve the design system to support new features and improvements.
  • Have a collaborative approach when it comes to working with our developers. Oversee the implementation quality and offer design support whenever the developers need it.
  • Support unmoderated and moderated usability testing with user research partners.
  • Monitor and manage quantitative and qualitative data from both our analytics and from our tech support. Have the ability to spot problems and frictions that could turn into a potential new study or insight.
  • Use qualitative user insights and quantitative user data to inform design solutions and deliverables.
  • Participate in cross-functional discovery, discussions, and design reviews.
  • Be open to continuously learning new technologies and systems, and transform them into accessible experiences.
  • Be comfortable in asking uncomfortable questions.
  • Be comfortable to get out of your comfort zone and learn everyday.

Requirements

  • Bring 5-8 years of expertise in designing experiences and interactions.
  • Experience in collaborating on product design teams with multiple designers.
  • Experience taking products past 0-1 and finding product market fit and customer adoption.
  • Experience designing consumer product experiences.
  • Capability of compellingly sustain a solution from start to end.
  • Flexibility in embracing user feedback and a problem solver mindset.
  • Clearly communicate design solutions, both visually and written, early and often.
  • Portfolio demonstrating both robust UI design and strong visual  design skills. Showcasing various UX artifacts that amplify your deep knowledge of which UX methodologies you should use and when to apply them.
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
  • Familiarity with qualitative research methodologies.
  • Great communication and time management skills that can adapt to a fully remote environment.
  • Low ego, someone with humility and a willingness to understand cultural differences/backgrounds.
  • Web3 user, and web3 knowledgeable.

Ideally You’ll Have

  • Prior experience working with Bitcoin projects
  • Prior experience working in a web3 or DeFi project
  • Prior experience in a Fintech background

Location

All Thesis roles are remote-first, with a preference for Europe & Americas time zones.
