Product Designer
Part-time contract | Hybrid or Remote | NYC, DC, United States
Make complex legal work feel clear and manageable.
A lawyer needs to understand what matters, where the evidence comes from, and what to do next. You’ll help make that experience clear. We’re looking for a part-time contract product designer to work with our engineering and legal teams on FluxCap’s core workflows.
What you’ll do
Talk with lawyers and the team to understand how they research, review evidence, and develop a case.
Turn complicated workflows into clear interactions, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
Design how people review AI-generated work, inspect sources, and make corrections.
Work closely with engineers through implementation and refine the product’s design patterns.
What you’ll bring
A portfolio showing thoughtful UX and strong visual craft in shipped digital products.
Experience making information-heavy or professional tools easier to use.
Comfort moving from an open question to a testable design, with clear explanations of your choices.
Experience collaborating with engineers and working within an existing product.
Experience with AI products is useful. Legal experience is not required.
