Who we are looking for:

 

Cornerstone Home Lending is seeking an experienced Product and Pricing Specialist to support our teams nationally. The Product and Pricing Specialist will assist Loan Officers and Teams with Pricing scenarios. Success in this job relies on your time management skills, industry knowledge, organization, and positive attitude.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist Loan Officers & Teams with Pricing, Relocks, Renegotiations, and Lock Extensions
  • Assist Loan Officers with finding the right product for a borrower’s scenario
  • Work with all departments throughout the Company
  • Facilitate lock cancellations, as well as program and term changes as directed, in accordance with pricing policies.
  • Review loan programs, branch margins, and pricing adjustments for accuracy and confirm locks for the production staff
  • Assist with renegotiating pricing and terms on individual loans as requested by Production under the guidance of department management.
  • Ability to navigate investor websites, and read and understand product guidelines
  • Produce internal reports to assist management in pricing loans and managing loans in the pipeline from within company BI systems.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on pricing reports, program changes, and internal policies.
  • Work efficiently with heavy phone and email volume on a help desk
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery as needed, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Frequently communicate with internal customers to exchange accurate information via telephone and through written communication

 

 What you’ll need to be successful:

 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in similar position w/ the Mortgage industry
  • Experience with loan products and pricing is required
  • Up to date on current mortgage products including FHA, VA, CONV, and USDA
  • Knowledge of non-QM products is a positive factor
  • Experience with Empower LOS is a positive factor
  • Must be able to display and consistently provide strong Customer Service to clients and team members
