At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock human performance and healthspan. WHOOP empowers members to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives.

WHOOP is hiring Product Analysts to embed across the product organization and serve as strategic analytics partners to teams across Healthcare, Algorithms, AI, Hardware, and other product areas. In this role, you will help define how WHOOP measures product success, uncover insights that shape roadmap decisions, and translate complex data into clear recommendations that improve the member experience. You will bring strong analytical rigor, product intuition, and intellectual curiosity to help teams make faster, smarter, and more impactful decisions with data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Design, and cross-functional leadership to inform strategy and roadmap decisions with data.

  • Own the analytical narrative for your product area, illustrated by defining KPIs, refining measurement frameworks, and surfacing insights that drive action.

  • Support experimentation and feature launches end-to-end: from defining success metrics to post-launch analysis and iteration.

  • Build scalable, self-serve reporting & tooling that lets your stakeholders make decisions without waiting on you.

  • Develop deep context on your product domain and use it to ask sharper questions, challenge assumptions, and push the product forward.

  • Proactively surface insights and recommendations that go beyond the ask; identify opportunities others haven't seen yet.

  • Collaborate with a high-performance analytics team in a fast-paced environment where intellectual curiosity is the baseline expectation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You've done this before: 2-6+ years in an analytical role where you owned business-critical metrics or initiatives. (We're hiring across levels; we'll figure out the right fit together.)

  • You use AI tools proactively and hold AI-assisted work to the same bar as your own.

  • You can take a vague question, wrangle the right data, isolate insights, and communicate actionable recommendations to stakeholders who aren't data people.

  • You're a strong storyteller: you know how to make a compelling, concise case for action.

  • You're technically sharp: advanced SQL is table stakes. Familiarity with modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt, ELT workflows) and visualization tools (Hex, Sigma, Amplitude, Looker) is a plus.

  • You have product sense: you think about the member experience, not just the numbers.

  • You're curious about how things work. Algorithms, hardware, health science: you don't need to be an expert, but you should want to understand.

  • You're a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and doesn't wait to be told what to work on.

    TEAMS WE'RE HIRING FOR

We’re looking for multiple analysts to work across our product teams. During the interview process, we'll work with you to find the right team fit based on your interests and strengths:

  • AI Product: The future of intelligent coaching and personalized insights powered by AI/ML.

  • Algorithms: Where the science meets the product; sleep, recovery, strain, and how algorithmic outputs translate into member value.

  • Hardware Product: The physical device experience; sensors, wearability, and next-gen hardware.

  • Healthcare Product: Building WHOOP's Health Operating System; health outcomes, clinical features, personalized wellness.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
