What You Will Achieve
  • Support the operation and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and control systems used in the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals.
  • Provide support on automation systems for production and ancillary equipment collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide on the floor operational support as needed.
  • Support qualification of new equipment, upgrades to existing equipment/systems as needed
  • Support the maintenance department as needed.
  • Provide equipment maintenance history review.
  • Support investigations, change controls and audits as needed.

Qualifications
Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Automation & Control Engineering, Computer Science or similar with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Experience in Emerson DeltaV or similar Manufacturing Control Systems.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written, are required.
  • Knowledge of working with computers and associated applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint are recommended.

Nice to Have
  • Some experience with Allen-Bradley PLC, and OSI PI products
  • Familiar with automation networks such as Ethernet, DH+, Control Net and relational database such as SQL or Oracle
  • Master's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Automation & Control Engineering, Computer Science or similar 0 to 1 years of experience

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk to access equipment in a clean room environment
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Ability to locate information and utilize available organizational knowledge to develop innovative solutions

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimal travel for occasional equipment FAT support and projects.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment.

Work Location Assignment: On Premise
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,500.00 to $110,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
