The Compute platform team is a dynamic and fast paced team that designs, develops, and maintains the foundational embedded software platform for SDV solutions, including drivers, operating system, BSP and software stack. We are developing a world-class GM experience for our customers and driving real change in the most iconic automaker on the planet. Our team delivers platform solutions for high end SoC's which enables to run infotainment, ADAS and other high compute application. - Architect frameworks for our next generation of SoC based systems from conception to production
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams to driver kernel development strategies

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or work equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in kernel driver development
- Solid understanding of Linux Kernel Frameworks (DMA, V4L2, ALSA, UART)
- Experience with embedded build systems - e.g. Yocto, buildroot,OpenWrt
- Knowledge of Linux Kernel Internals (e.g. memory management, synchronization, device driver framework)
- Experience deploying commercial embedded Linux systems
- Familiarity with ARM architectures
- Experience working with the Linux kernel community and upstreaming drivers
- Experience with bringup/validation/system level testing of SoC's

- The expected base compensation for this role is: $234,000-$359,800 . Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
