At ZoomInfo, we encourage creativity, value innovation, demand teamwork, expect accountability and cherish results. We value your take charge, take initiative, get stuff done attitude and will help you unlock your growth potential. One great choice can change everything. Thrive with us at ZoomInfo.

We are looking for a Principal Product Operations Manager to join our Product Operations team at ZoomInfo. This role is a senior role on the team, and will be critical to the success of our business, ensuring that our product teams operate efficiently, drive impact, and scale effectively.

You will report directly to the Head of Product Operations and serve as a key leader in improving our operational rigor, cross-functional execution, and change management within the product organization. In particular, you will own the product operations initiatives that require cross-functional coordination and alignment. If you are energized by solving complex operational challenges, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving efficiency in a high-growth SaaS environment, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Cross-Functional Operations: Lead and own high-impact projects that improve collaboration across product, engineering, sales, customer success, and marketing
  • Strategic Initiative Governance: Establish frameworks to ensure initiatives reach a successful and steady-state before new ones are launched, preventing initiative overload.
  • Change Management: Drive adoption of key operational processes within the product organization, ensuring PMs and cross-functional teams effectively implement and sustain changes.
  • Execution & Scaling: Identify and remove bottlenecks in product development and go-to-market processes, ensuring smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Establish and track KPIs to measure operational efficiency, initiative success, and process adoption. Use insights to drive continuous improvements.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Partner closely with product leadership, driving alignment on priorities and ensuring the right balance between strategic initiatives and execution capacity.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Driving high-impact initiatives across the finish line and into steady state, with clear success criteria and operational support.
  • Creating a repeatable, scalable framework for launching and sustaining operational changes across the product organization.
  • Providing leadership with visibility into the status, impact, and ROI of key initiatives, ensuring prioritization of the most critical efforts.
  • Ensuring your work is seen as a strategic enabler, rather than an administrative burden or function.

What You Bring:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Product Operations or a related field within a B2B SaaS company (preferred).
  • Proven ability to drive change management in fast-paced product organizations, influencing senior stakeholders to adopt new processes.
  • Strong project and initiative management skills—able to prioritize, sequence, and drive execution across multiple teams.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management—you know how to build alignment across product, engineering, sales, and customer success.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making and measure operational improvements.
  • Passion for operational excellence—you thrive in improving processes, reducing inefficiencies, and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Experience in go-to-market (GTM) intelligence software or a strong understanding of SaaS product operations is a plus.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
