Role

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in San Jose, CA role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Specialist in the Take Off Team department. In this role, you will join a team of dedicated product professionals who support the Zscaler Zero Trust Cloud product suite. You will specialize in Zscaler Microsegmentation and learn all aspects of how to apply this knowledge to solve customer problems. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team that supports a set of emerging products on a strong upward trajectory.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Work with other members of the product team to define and prioritize feature requirements

• Partner with GTM to build effective, repeatable, sales strategies

• Evangelize the product to internal and external stakeholders, including, but not limited to, sales trainings, Executive Briefing Center presentations, and writing product reference materials

• Travel to, speak at, and support industry trade shows

• Train pre-sales and post-sales partners

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain

• 7–10 years of product management experience, with significant focus on secure access and/or cybersecurity

• Strong technical foundation in public cloud and network security technologies

• Proven experience writing high-quality product requirements and driving end-to-end product delivery

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results through influence

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience defining product requirements or strategy for AI-powered microsegmentation, intelligent network anomaly detection, or automated policy generation solutions

• Proven track record contributing to the success of a cloud security technology

• Proven track record contributing to the success a microsegmentation technology
