Overview:

The Principal Product Manager will be responsible for defining and executing on a multi-year product vision and strategy that will drive the growth of Precisely’s Ironstream product family. The ideal candidate will bring strategic product acumen, a customer-focused mindset, deep technical expertise, and an ability to drive cross-functional teams to achieve product growth and adoption.

What you will do:

  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Synthesize learnings from market trends, an evolving competitive landscape, and customer needs to define actionable roadmaps that drive growth
  • Define and Prioritize Requirements: Gather and prioritize product needs from customers, sales, support, and other teams, create clear documentation artifacts (MRDs and PRDs), and work with Engineering to deliver the roadmap
  • Go-to-Market Leadership:Work closely with Marketing, Enablement, Sales, and other product teams to launch new product offerings, refine messaging and positioning, and support demand and revenue generation activities
  • Communication & Reporting: Provide clear, concise, and insightful updates to executive leadership and stakeholders through self-serve reports, presentations, and quarterly business reviews
  • Understand your Metrics: Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators to ensure product and business goals are being met.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of products from ideation to end-of-life, including requirements gathering, roadmap development, prioritization, and release planning

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Deep expertise in any or multiple of the following enterprise software markets:
    • AIOps
    • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
    • IT Service Management (ITSM) and Enterprise Workflow Automation
    • IT Operations Management (ITOM)
  • Experience in building pricing models to achieve intended business results 
  • Demonstrated outstanding written, oral and internet communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive projects to produce results
  • Exceptional business judgment in identifying opportunities and resolving issues
  • Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, demanding business environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional groups, management, sales and customers
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of work
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science; MBA or MS is a nice to have
