Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity.
Atlassian is seeking a visionary Principal Product Manager to lead the integration of Loom across Atlassian's platform and bring the power of Atlassian's platform onto Loom.
In this high-impact role, you will shape how millions of users communicate, collaborate, and get work done by bringing the power of video onto Atlassian's platform and making Loom a critical part of user and agentic workflows. You'll drive strategy, execution, and innovation at the intersection of video, productivity, and teamwork.
What You Will Do:
  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for how Loom integrates with Atlassian's platform, including Atlassian's Teamwork Graph, Rovo, Automation, and AI-powered search.
  • Lead cross-functional teams-including engineering, design, and go-to-market-to deliver high-quality, scalable integration solutions.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for new video-powered workflows, from ideation through launch and iteration.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and advocate for Loom integrations, ensuring best-in-class user experiences.
  • Analyze user feedback, product data, and market trends to inform decisions and prioritize opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and deliver initiatives that accelerate productivity and collaboration for Atlassian customers.
  • Drive the integration of Atlassian's AI/agentic platform (Rovo) into Loom, expanding the scale, reach, and capabilities of AI for Loom's user base.

Your Background:
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on platform integrations, SaaS, or productivity tools.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects at scale.
  • Strong technical acumen and experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable product decisions.
  • Experience managing ambiguity and driving alignment across diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered products or video collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products and ecosystem.
  • Background in API/platform architecture.
  • Experience in a matrixed, global organization.

What Success Looks Like:
  • Seamless integration of Loom with Atlassian's core products, driving measurable increases in user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Successful launch and adoption of new video-powered workflows that set the standard for collaboration in the Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Recognition as a thought leader and go-to expert for Loom integrations and workflow innovation.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)

  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
