We are seeking a Principal Product Manager – EAMC to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Waltham, MA office.

Job Summary

The Principal Product Manager is responsible for Imprivata's Enterprise Access Management Cloud offering and the overall success of that business area, including adoption and growth. This highly visible role involves coordinating cross-functional activities related to product development, release, and customer success. It requires technical knowledge of enterprise software, SaaS platforms, customer IT environments, and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully rapidly growing new products.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning through delivery, to ensure alignment with company objectives. 
  • Champion customer needs by shaping product vision, developing business cases, and prioritizing features and requirements. 
  • Work closely with Engineering to deliver secure, scalable enterprise software solutions. 
  • Clearly communicate product strategy to stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners. 
  • Identify and pursue new product opportunities and partnerships to drive ROI and business growth. 
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Product Ops, and Customer Success to ensure timely product releases. 
  • Monitor and report on success metrics, provide roadmap updates, and serve as a product evangelist both internally and externally. 
  • Leverage AI tools, including LLMs and coding assistants, to improve product management workflows, prototyping, and requirements development. 
  • Other duties as assigned and required. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or in a related discipline, or equivalent experience. 
  • Knowledge of SaaS operations, including deployment, observability, automation, and incident management 
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS product management. Experience in Access Management, SSO, MFA, or security a plus. 
  • Experience with AI-driven development. 
  • Familiarity with LLMs and coding assistants (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and how they can be applied to product management workflows. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Passionate about solving problems in innovative ways. 
  • Detail-oriented but with the ability to think and act strategically. 

This position offers a total compensation range of $180,600.00 to $191,100.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
