We’re seeking a Principal Platform Engineer who’s passionate about building resilient cloud platforms that drive real-world impact in healthcare. In this role, you’ll architect secure, automated infrastructure in an FDA-regulated environment, implement advanced CI/CD pipelines, and champion infrastructure-as-code practices that enable teams to deliver faster and smarter. By applying your DevOps expertise and AWS mastery, you’ll accelerate the development of cutting-edge medical-imaging SaaS solutions that have the ability to transform patient care.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of DevOps/SRE/Platform-focused software engineering experience in an agile environment and expertise with at least one coding language (Ruby, Python, Rust, Go, etc.)
- Extensive hands-on experience creating and supporting AWS Environments using, but not limited to: ECS, EFS, EC2, RDS, Redshift, VPC, Route53.
- Experience developing infrastructure-as-code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, etc.
- Experience with containerization and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate, etc.).
- Experience building and/or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, with GitHub actions GitLab, CircleCI, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring tools such as DataDog, NewRelic or similar.
- Strong organization, collaboration and communication skills.
- This role is based out of our office in Boston, MA. We operate in a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration.
- This role participates in on-call rotation that provides coverage on business days from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM. The rotation is shared among all team members and generally occurs for 2–3 weeks per quarter.
- The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $170,000-$205,000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.
