Redfin is redefining real estate in the consumer’s favor by combining our own technology and agents to create a service that’s better, faster, and costs less. As a Redfinnian, you'll make a difference in one of life’s most important events—buying or selling a home. Our hiring standards are high, yet our culture is humble. No matter what role you have, you’ll be both challenged and inspired every day. We’ve got all the perks, but if what you value most is doing great work in a creative, collaborative, and disciplined environment, join us.

Redfin is looking for a seasoned professional in program management or sales enablement to develop and implement seamless processes that enhance the customer journey. This role involves optimizing critical areas like listing preparation, home showing scheduling, and empowering agents to provide exceptional service.

As Principal Program Manager, reporting to the Director of Program Management, you will be a pivotal leader at Redfin, shaping strategic programs and projects that fuel business growth. You will drive positive change by deeply understanding growth drivers and fostering strong cross-functional collaborations. While possessing expert project/program management skills, you will also connect these efforts to overarching company objectives. This role serves as a critical interface between business strategy, technological advancements, and operational field processes, ensuring optimal business performance.

The Role

  • Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams spanning real estate operations, training, analytics, engineering and product focused on driving customer value through identified initiatives.

  • Prepare and manage project schedules and resources all the way from project kickoff through national rollout.

  • Create streamlined and standardized processes that enable consistent execution and allow for continuous improvement.

  • Implement and manage changes and resolve issues to ensure project goals are achieved.

  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all stakeholders on program status throughout its lifecycle.

  • Develop clear and effective communication tools and training documents.

  • Spend time in the field observing and learning what is working well and how we can help make it better.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years experience in project management, business operations, process improvement, or sales enablement is required: You have a track record of making processes more efficient and get a deep satisfaction from helping others be more productive.  Formal process improvement training (ie. Lean Six Sigma) or Change Management training is a bonus. Real estate experience is a super bonus.

  • Change-driver: you plan well, you identify dependencies and risks, you influence others and get buy-in, you set goals, you help train our agents, you celebrate the wins, and you monitor adoption.

  • Analytical: you make data driven decisions and have a strong intuition for the numbers that matter to help inform proposals, confirm a point of view and report on results.

  • Collaborator and decisive bridge builder: You get alignment and support through strong relationships and compelling proposals that energize your colleagues. You know your audience and can work with sales teams and software engineers. You’re a great listener and can communicate clearly. You’re critical of your own processes and react to feedback quickly. And most importantly, you know 99% done is half-done.

  • Willingness to travel: Redfin is a national company and our agents are in every major metro in the US. Expect to travel 25% of the time to visit agents in our field markets.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.

Base Pay Range: $130,300.00 - 195,000.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include bonuses and equity.

We offer a generous benefits package including flexible vacation that supports the importance of time away from work for rest and relaxation, 12 paid holidays, paid parental leave, sick leave (accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked), medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits, flexible spending account, health savings account, life and disability insurance, fertility benefits, Employee Assistance Programs, and 401(k) employer match.#LI-Remote
