Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Architect to join our Enterprise Integration Team. As a Lead Architect, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced integration concepts, techniques, and standards using WebMethods and MuleSoft. You will be viewed as an expert in the field within the corporation and will be responsible for developing new applications based on professional principles and theories.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced integration solutions to complex problems, requiring a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions, including Digital Thread and Pub/Sub Architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure integration solutions meet business requirements and are properly implemented
  • Partner with Cyber Security to ensure integration solutions are designed and implemented with security best practices and compliance with enterprise security standards
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to align integration solutions with overall enterprise architecture vision and strategy
  • Serve as a consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on significant matters relating to integration policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices and ensuring consistency in integration development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our integration architecture and standards

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in IT with at least 8 years of experience in integration architecture, with a focus on WebMethods and/or MuleSoft
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale integration solutions, including enterprise service buses, APIs, and messaging systems
  • Strong understanding of digital thread and pub/sub architecture, including event-driven design patterns and real-time data exchange
  • Excellent technical leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge or experience with open-source integration platforms, such as Apache Camel, Apache Kafka, or Red Hat Fuse
  • Experience with integration frameworks and tools, such as Spring Integration, Apache CXF, or Eclipse MicroProfile
  • Certification in WebMethods, MuleSoft, or related technologies
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, such as TOGAF, ITIL, and ISO 20000

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
