Within this group, you will focus on security IP, enabling trusted compute environments and protecting data integrity across Marvell’s custom silicon platforms.
You’ll join a highly skilled digital design team that tackles complex challenges in cryptographic engines, secure key management, and hardware root-of-trust implementations. Your work will directly impact the security and reliability of next-generation compute architectures used by leading technology companies worldwide.
This team hires some of the most talented problem solvers in silicon design and plays a critical role in delivering differentiated solutions to marquee customers. If you thrive on solving tough technical problems and want to make a meaningful impact on secure computing, this is the place for you.

What You Can Expect

  • Develop and optimize RTL for performance, power, and area, ensuring compliance with security standards and protocols.

  • Collaborate with architecture, verification, and physical design teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready IP.

  • Drive design reviews and provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and influencing best practices across the team.

  • Analyze and resolve complex design challenges, including timing closure, power optimization, and security hardening.

  • Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions for custom silicon.

  • Design and implement security IP blocks for custom compute solutions, including cryptographic accelerators, secure boot, and hardware root-of-trust.

  • Stay current with emerging security technologies and standards, applying them to Marvell’s next-generation compute platforms.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10+ years of related professional experience OR Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of SoC architecture, processor cores, memory and peripheral interfaces through hands on prior experience.
  • Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools for design.
  • Experience with low-power design techniques, clock-domain crossing, and design-for-test (DFT).
  • Proven ability to lead complex design projects, mentor team members, and collaborate across functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Experience with security IP design, including cryptographic algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC), secure boot, and hardware root-of-trust a plus.
