Role description:
Are you a relationship-driven business developer with a passion for construction, infrastructure, claims, and project advisory services?
Arcadis is seeking a Business Development Manager – Claims to lead the growth of our Claims, Disputes, and Change Management practice across the Western United States. In this highly visible role, you'll leverage your industry network, market knowledge, and strategic business development expertise to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and expand our presence across transportation, infrastructure, water, energy, and buildings markets.
What You'll Do
- Drive business development initiatives and market expansion strategies
- Develop and strengthen relationships with owners, contractors, attorneys, program managers, and project executives
- Identify and pursue opportunities within major capital programs and complex infrastructure projects
- Lead strategic pursuits, proposals, presentations, and client engagement activities
- Partner with subject matter experts to deliver innovative claims, dispute resolution, and change management solutions
- Contribute directly to revenue growth and long-term client success
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure, project controls, claims consulting, dispute resolution, change management, or related advisory services
- Proven success in business development, account growth, and client relationship management
- Established industry network within infrastructure, transportation, engineering, consulting, legal, or construction sectors
- Strong understanding of claims, project controls, schedule analysis, dispute resolution, and capital project delivery
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Experience
- Heavy civil, transportation, water, buildings, or major infrastructure projects
- Certifications such as CCM, PMP, PSP, CFCC, MRICS, or similar
- Experience supporting large and complex capital programs
- CA PE license preferred but is not required.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $220,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
