  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with client stakeholders to understand infrastructure challenges, modernization initiatives, and long-term architecture goals.
  • Design and position solution architectures across infrastructure, hybrid cloud, networking, and cybersecurity technologies. Support the development of solution proposals, architectural designs, and technical recommendations for enterprise customers.
  • Partner with Core Sales to advance complex opportunities and ensure technical alignment during the sales process.
  • Present and explain solution designs to C-level and technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business value.
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineering and Service Delivery teams to ensure architectures are aligned for successful implementation.
  • Stay current on evolving technologies to help guide customers toward modern, scalable infrastructure and cloud architectures

Technical Focus Areas

Experience across several of the following technology domains is preferred:

  • Infrastructure and virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Hyper-V, and enterprise compute platforms

  • Enterprise networking and next-generation security solutions including routing, switching, firewalls, and secure network architectures
  • Managed network and managed security services including infrastructure monitoring, operations, and lifecycle management
  • Microsoft ecosystem technologies including Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace, and identity platforms
  • Cybersecurity services including MDR (Managed Detection and Response), identity protection, threat detection, and remediation initiatives
  • Data protection and resiliency platforms including backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity technologies such as Veeam, Rubrik, and Cohesity
Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting
  • Experience supporting customer-facing pre-sales engagements or architecture design discussions
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and Microsoft ecosystems
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and executive audiences
  • Experience working with enterprise clients or complex IT environments
  • Strong collaboration skills working across sales, architecture, and service delivery teams
