Lead enterprise pre-sales architecture engagements for data center modernization, secure networking, WAN, hybrid cloud connectivity, virtualization, and disaster recovery. Translate business objectives into infrastructure strategies, design complex routing, switching, segmentation, and SD-WAN solutions, lead customer workshops, support RFPs, create architecture documentation and bills of materials, and transition designs to delivery teams. The role requires regular customer-site meetings across the West Coast.

Lead strategic design and technical delivery for large-scale VMware Cloud Foundation programs. Develop high- and low-level designs for complex multi-site environments, plan hybrid-cloud integrations and migrations, define security and compliance standards, create reference architectures, support customer and executive engagements, resolve escalations, and mentor senior engineers. The role requires deep VMware expertise across vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria, with training provided for broader VCF specialization.

Lead pre-sales security architecture engagements by designing and validating defense-in-depth solutions across hybrid, cloud, application, identity, endpoint, network, and data environments. Conduct security assessments, create remediation roadmaps, integrate security platforms, and support DevSecOps, SOC, detection engineering, incident response, compliance, and risk programs. Collaborate with sales, engineering, clients, and executive stakeholders to communicate technical trade-offs and deliver scalable enterprise security strategies.

Manages end-to-end VMware Cloud Foundation deployments, upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation projects. Coordinates engineers, designers, procurement, PMO, customers, and technical stakeholders; develops schedules and project documentation; manages risks, dependencies, change control, logistics, and environment readiness; facilitates meetings and provides status updates while ensuring quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
