Job Description

Timeframe: June 1 – August 21, 2026 and able to work in a hybrid work environment.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Pre-Dev Software Engineering Intern to join the On-The-Go (OTG) Pre-Dev Team and support the prototyping and implementation of embedded and research tools for next-generation Bose devices.

In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Develop and test embedded software features using C for OTG products
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with the team on code reviews and debugging
• Contribute to the development of a Raspberry Pi-based research tool using Python

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you should be/have:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in C programming
• Experience with Git version control
• Familiarity with Python development
• Understanding of unit testing, debugging techniques, and data structures
• Participation in relevant student organizations or technical clubs (e.g., IEEE, ACM) is a plus
• No formal certifications required, but coursework or projects in embedded systems or IoT is beneficial

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $29.00-$37.25 per hour.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
