We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, and manage enterprise-grade cloud platforms that enable developers to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud-native technologies, APIs, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, platform automation, observability, identity and access management, and secure software engineering.

This role focuses on creating and maintaining modern platform capabilities that improve developer productivity, operational efficiency, system reliability, and security across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-native platform services and infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage reusable platform components, APIs, and developer self-service capabilities.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable application delivery.
  • Manage source control repositories, branching strategies, and development workflows using GitHub.
  • Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to ensure secure access to applications and infrastructure.
  • Develop infrastructure automation and configuration management solutions.
  • Build and maintain platform observability capabilities, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing.
  • Collaborate with development, security, architecture, and operations teams to deliver platform solutions.
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, performance, and availability.
  • Implement platform security controls and enforce secure engineering practices.
  • Support incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
  • Drive platform modernization initiatives and adoption of cloud-native best practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
  • Strong experience with cloud-native architectures and modern application platforms.
  • Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise with GitHub and modern source control practices.
  • Strong understanding of API design, development, integration, and management.
  • Experience implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration  
Minimum Compensation: USD 37,000  
Maximum Compensation: USD 132,000  
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.  
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full-time employees.  
This position is not available for independent contractors
