Research at WHOOP covers a range of specialities across scientific exploration, product innovation, and clinical testing. This work is empowered by the research platform, a suite of tools that WHOOP researchers use to conduct in person and remote studies. WHOOP is seeking a Platform Designer with strong UX thinking, collaboration skills, and a passion for usability to execute key improvements to help our research scale.
This is a 3 month temporary role, based out of our Boston HQ.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own updates to the platform’s user experience, working closely with the Platform Manager and research stakeholders to prioritize and solve the largest usability pain points
- Evolve platform design concepts by producing mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Build templates for key screens to support multiple languages, including right-to-left and left-to-right text orientation
- Support the development of clinically compliant features by producing relevant design documentation for key features such as informed consent signature
- Collaborate with the Platform team to understand feature requirements and test potential design directions with users / subject matter experts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years designing digital products, experience with highly technical/complex UIs a plus
- Experience owning the entire UX design process from start to finish
- Experience designing internal or enterprise tools a plus
- A portfolio of previous UX design work
- A user-centered approach to design, with a passion for usability and functionality
- Fluency in written Arabic a plus
